psycho- & traumatherapy

„Try healing something. That is hard. That requires patience. You can break something in two seconds, but it can take forever to fix it.“

– Salma Hayek in „Beatrize at Dinner”

integrative therapy

In my integrative therapeutic framework I focus on systemic and talk therapy. I complement these two approaches with Gestalt aspects and, if desired, hypnotherapy – always individually and according to the emerging needs and desired therapy goals of my clients.

systemic therapy

We all live in systems: within the family, at work, in our circle of friends or in our free time with hobbies and in clubs. Everything has a group or system dynamic. In systemic therapy, the focus lies on the social context of psychological stress and mental health, especially on the interactions between the parts of the system. Constellation work is a method in which individual situations are positioned and placed in context with each other. This is intended to visually represent the dynamics within the network of relationships and thus enable the client to better understand his or her own role and to be able to change it accordingly within the system.

talk therapy

Talking psychotherapy is a client-centred form in humanistic psychology. In contrast to other forms of therapy, talk therapy focuses more on the development potential in the here and now and the realization of these possibilities. But the root of problematic thought patterns are necessary to understand and therefore need to be uncovered first so that the patient can get to know oneself better and then continue to develop a more positive mentally health.

walk ‘n’ talk

Talking about one's own feelings, worries or even fears can be an enormous challenge for any client - even men find it difficult. With walk 'n' talk and exercise in the fresh air, the therapeutic setting is initially dissolved because the client no longer has to sit opposite the therapist. This often makes it feel easier to talk about what is bothering or preoccupying you. The eye can wander during the walk and lose itself in the landscape, the movement helps the body to release inner restlessness and enables the unconscious to recall memories at the same time. In addition, the chance to leave at any time often gives clients a sense of security.

„The brokenhearted are the bravest among us. They had the courage to love.“

– Brené Brown

traumatherapy

Post-traumatic patterns of thinking and behaviour often have an unfavourable and stressful effect on the lives of those affected. In trauma therapy, the aim is to first recognise these learned survival strategies in order to be able to change them. This is achieved by promoting the client's security and stability, restructuring negative beliefs and behavioural patterns, breaking down and processing traumatic memories and at the same time building up healthy coping strategies and resources. For the emotional processing and healing of the trauma and the restoration of a psychological balance.

EMDR

The abbreviation EMDR stands for "Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing".

The treatment mainly focuses on traumatic experiences as well as stressful and challenging life situations. Through specific instructions and eye movements, the experiences and shadow themes can be broken up and reprocessed in the brain, thus reducing their intensity and finally bringing about the desired emotional clarification and processing.

For clients who have difficulties with this visual method due to epilepsy or other neurological or optical disorders, additional auditory and tactile variants using headphones or pulsators are available.

„Ask yourself: Are these really my feelings or is this my emotional history repeating the past?“

– Yung Pueblo

self-love & self-worth

Are you dissatisfied with yourself and the way you look and constantly criticize individual aspects of your appearance? You think there must be a reason why you don't have a happy relationship, why you keep getting dumped or treated badly, or why you can't even get ahead in your profession. If you want to gain new confidence and learn to love your uniqueness step by step, then I look forward to welcoming you to my practice.

stress & burn-out

Deep and restorative relaxation for body and soul: targeted resource work has a regulating effect on the entire organism, helping to rebalance body and mind. This helps the nervous system to calm down and regenerate. The carousel of thoughts slows down, breathing deepens and becomes more even, while the muscles can finally let go and recover deeply. This method of resource work has proven to be extremely effective in reducing anxiety, pain and sleep disorders, alleviating stress in the long term and specifically counteracting exhaustion depression and burn-out symptoms.
